When dragging one or more clips (in "view as clips" list view, item clips view, map/calendar clip lists, plus video player in editor view), the left-hand tab would switch from Movies/Videos to Edits, allowing to drop the clips into an edit.

An edit is basically a list of clips, with an index property that indicates the order (see #1521, same property for static lists). UI-wise, it has the same features as list and texts, i.e. folders with personal, favorite and featured edits. When dragging one or more clips (in "view as clips" list view, item clips view, map/calendar clip lists, plus video player in editor view), the left-hand tab would switch from Movies/Videos to Edits, allowing to drop the clips into an edit.
